    About the Role:

    As an IS Office Coordinator at Guide Dogs, you’ll ensure effective and efficient administrative activities are in place. The Office Coordinator will provide seamless departmental administrative support across internal IT teams for a variety of project, routine and non-routine operational meetings. This role is offered on a part time basis working 15 hours arranged flexibly across the week from our Reading office. 

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Responsible for supporting IT purchasing, including accounts and financial management, asset ordering, allocation and tracking as well as any administration relevant to technology assets to ensure all Guide Dog employees are equipped with the right product and services aligned to the business requirements.
    • Contribute to supplier and vendor relationship management supporting supplier good practice and value for money service monitoring by arranging and documenting supplier routine and non-routine meetings.
    • Support the audit and assurance activity of the IT directorate contributing to routine meetings of multiple internal stakeholders during the relevant audit cycles.
    You:

    You’ll have an organised approach to administrative support. You’ll enjoy working across the internal IS teams with a dedicated focus on office day-to-day operations within the Service Delivery Team, whilst being committed to to ensure a smooth service delivery. You’ll act with integrity and honesty in everything you do.

    Skills and Competencies:

    • Excellent Microsoft Office skills with demonstrable ability to use Word, Outlook and Excel.
    • Knowledge of how to navigate and use purchasing systems for raising and posting POs, Invoices, Credit Notes.
    • Basic knowledge of technology and information services.
