    Come and join us as a selfmotivated and purposedriven Single Gifts Campaign Officer and be part of something lifechanging - helping people with sight loss live the life they choose.

    As a Single Gifts Campaign Officer at Guide Dogs, you’ll deliver engaging marketing campaigns that inspire supporters to take action and help maximise income across cash appeals, raffles and mid-value giving programmes. You’ll manage marketing campaigns from planning through to delivery, ensuring activity is delivered on time, within budget and achieves strong results. The Single Gifts Campaign Officer will be an expert in direct marketing campaign management, copywriting and content development, stakeholder and supplier management, campaign analysis, and delivering multi-channel fundraising activity. Our Single Gifts Campaign Officers play a huge part in ensuring everything we do enables us to deliver on our purpose and exceed expectations.

    For this role you'll be working 35 hours per week, worked 9am - 5pm, Monday to Friday. We are looking for you to attend the office at least 2 days per week including each Thursday for a team day.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Manage the overall delivery of campaigns, including both acquisition and retention activity. Delivering on time, to budget and maximising response and value. Write briefs for creative, data, response handling and supporter care. Ensure the approval procedure is adhered to and all necessary stakeholders communicated with.
    • Manage non-campaign specific projects as and when required, to time and on budget, including stewardship and retention activity.
    • Input into the strategic direction of the Single Gifts plans and make recommendations for improvement of the scheme and processes.
    • Conduct regular analysis, including post campaign analysis, producing wrap up reports and making recommendations for campaign improvement.
    • Manage suppliers to ensure quality work is delivered, within the defined schedule and at a competitive cost.
    • Line manage and work alongside the Single Gifts Campaign Executive on selected projects, supporting their professional development.

    You’ll have a proactive and results-focused approach to delivering direct marketing campaigns. You’ll enjoy working in a fast-paced, multi-channel fundraising environment with a dedicated focus on campaign performance, supporter engagement and continuous improvement, whilst being committed to maximising fundraising income and delivering an exceptional supporter experience. You’ll act with integrity and honesty in everything you do.

    Skills and Competencies

    • Demonstrable experience in a direct marketing environment, delivering a variety of projects across a variety of channels simultaneously.
    • Experience in managing project spend and working with a number of different internal teams.
    • Experience of working with external suppliers.
    • Proven understanding of direct marketing principles and techniques, and of briefing and interpreting analysis.
    • Some knowledge of print and production.
    • Up to date knowledge of PCI, Data Protection Act, Gambling Act 2005, Charity Commission and Institute of Fundraising Good Practice.
