  • About The Role

  • Are you a people person with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you!

As a Reception Coordinator, you’ll be the first friendly face visitors meet at our Guide Dogs site, ensuring a warm, professional welcome while keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes. From managing deliveries and greeting visitors to coordinating meeting rooms and supporting volunteers, you'll play a key role in maintaining an organised and welcoming environment.

You’ll also be responsible for managing visitor records, assisting with diary bookings, and ensuring our reception service operates efficiently. A big part of your role will be working alongside and supporting our fantastic volunteers, ensuring they have the training and resources they need to help keep things running seamlessly.

Every day brings a different mix of tasks and interactions, making this a role where your adaptability and positive outlook really matter. You'll also support a range of administrative tasks—from organising mail and supplies to helping with fire alarm testing and ensuring safety procedures are in place.

If you thrive in a front-facing role, enjoy working with people, and want to be part of an organisation making a real difference, this could be the perfect job for you!

Ideally, you’ll have experience supporting volunteers and working in an environment where service levels and efficiency are key. Most importantly, you’ll be a warm, welcoming presence with a flexible and proactive approach, always ready to go the extra mile to keep our reception running smoothly.
