  • About The Role

  • Join Us as a Content Editor and Help Bring Our Stories to Life.

At the heart of everything we do is a simple but powerful mission: to help people with sight loss live the life they choose.

As our new Content Editor, you’ll play a vital role in making that mission real, by crafting compelling communications, editing with care, and creating content that truly connects.

In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with our NAP Editors to reduce the backlog of Pupdates, montages, and other creative assets. You’ll reach out to key stakeholders—puppy raisers, trainers, guide dog mobility instructors, and families—to gather updates on our puppies’ progress. You’ll then turn those updates into engaging, imaginative content that delights our supporters and aligns with our product strategy.

You’ll be responsible for writing Pupdates, puppy report cards, and family trees, as well as creating photo montages. You’ll also manage the upload of finished content to our internal systems. From arranging and overseeing photo and video shoots to editing and proofreading materials from other team members, you’ll ensure everything we produce is on-brand, on-message, and accessible to all. With a strong eye for detail, you’ll deliver high-quality content on time and within budget, always following our approvals process.

If you’re a strong writer, who’s passionate about making a difference, we’d love to hear from you.

We value in-person collaboration with our teams and those we support, so the ability to travel to our sites is needed for this role. We support hybrid working arrangements, so you have flexibility to work in a way that’s best for you, we would like you to work on site a minimum of 2 days per week.

This role will be based on site at our Reading office, working closely with the Content team. You’ll be working 35 hours per week, worked 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.

No two people with sight loss are the same, and none of our people are either. So, we are proud to offer a range of person-centred benefits that can support each member of staff in ways that really mean something to them – and show them how much they mean to us. We offer a flexible benefits package, discounts and cashback scheme, a generous holiday allowance and matched contributory pension scheme to care for our people
