    As a National Fundraising Campaigns Officer at Guide Dogs, you’ll lead the development and delivery of innovative, multi-channel fundraising campaigns that drive supporter engagement, income growth, and community participation. You’ll play a key role in creating compelling campaigns and resources that inspire third-party fundraising and expand our reach across diverse audiences. The National Fundraising Campaigns Officer will be an expert in multi-channel marketing, campaign planning and delivery, audience engagement strategies, and data-driven campaign optimisation. Our National Fundraising Campaigns Officers play a huge part in ensuring everything we do enables us to deliver on our purpose and exceed expectations.

    This is a homebased role working 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

    Key Responsibilities

    • To co-create with the marketing team and deliver an annual multi-channel marketing plan across all community fundraising products to specific target audiences to achieve agreed results and planned annual growth.
    • To co-create and implement with the digital team a digital media plan and social media strategy to reach out and engage with our wider communities and increase our audience reach.
    • Take personal responsibility for seeking innovative new ways to promote third party fundraising and communicate with supporters. Where relevant, assist with the development and creation of new products or introduce new channels to increase Guide Dogs fundraising potential
    • Undertake post campaign analysis, producing wrap up reports and making recommendations for campaign improvement.
    • Manage external suppliers to ensure quality work is delivered, within the defined schedule, fully compliant and at a competitive cost.
    • Deliver annual growth of a supportive community of stakeholders and ensure that all our engagement creates a stronger and evidences life time value.

    You

    You’ll have a creative, innovative and data-driven approach to developing and delivering multi-channel fundraising campaigns and engaging diverse audiences. You’ll enjoy working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment across internal teams and external partners with a dedicated focus on driving income growth, supporter recruitment and engagement, whilst being committed to delivering impactful outcomes that support people with sight loss to live the life they choose. You’ll act with integrity and honesty in everything you do.

    Skills and Competencies

    • Demonstrable experience in a direct marketing environment, delivering a variety of projects across a variety of channels simultaneously. 
    • Experience in managing project spend and working with a number of different internal teams. 
    • Experience of working with external suppliers.
    • A strong understanding of multi-channel marketing, including social media, video and online advertising.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills: demonstrable ability to understand a range of audiences and develop effective plans to engage with them.
    • Strategic thinker with the ability to clearly prioritise projects and actions based on needs.
